Day 1: Amritsar to Srinagar - Arrival
On Day 1, you will depart from Amritsar and board a flight to Srinagar. Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, you’ll be met by our representative, who will assist you with the transfer to your hotel for check-in. After some rest, in the afternoon, you will visit important sights of Srinagar City, such as the Shankaracharya Temple and the stunning Mughal Gardens (Nishat Bagh & Shalimar Bagh). After exploring the gardens, enjoy a relaxing evening in Srinagar and return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Srinagar to Pahalgam and Return
On Day 2, after breakfast, you’ll embark on a journey to Pahalgam. En-route, you will visit the famous Saffron Fields of Pampora, enjoy the scenic views of the countryside, and stop at the Awantipura Ruins. Continue your drive through lush pine forests to Pahalgam, known as the “Valley of Shepherds,” where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Lidder River and Sheshnag Lake. After a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, take a stroll through the valley or enjoy an optional horse ride. In the afternoon, return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 3: Srinagar to Sonmarg and Return
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Sonmarg, also known as the "Meadow of Gold." This serene destination, located in Sindh Valley, is surrounded by snowy mountains, alpine meadows, and lush trees like sycamore, silver birch, and pine. At an altitude of 2,690 meters, it is a peaceful and picturesque retreat, often the last stop before heading to Leh. Enjoy a relaxing lunch at a local restaurant and capture the stunning beauty of the area. Optional horse rides are available for those looking for more adventure. In the late afternoon, drive back to Srinagar and check-in to a houseboat on Dal Lake for a unique overnight experience.
Day 4: Srinagar to Gulmarg and Return
After breakfast, take a scenic drive to Gulmarg, also known as the “Meadow of Gold.” This destination, once popular with Mughal emperors, is located at an altitude of 2,730 meters in the Pir Panjal Range. Known for its beautiful green golf course, Gulmarg offers panoramic views of surrounding mountains. You can also enjoy a Gondola ride or an optional horse ride to explore the picturesque surroundings. In the afternoon, drive back to Srinagar for an overnight stay at your houseboat.
Day 5: Srinagar - Departure
On your last day, start with a relaxing Shikara ride on Dal Lake, an iconic and soothing experience in Kashmir. Afterward, you’ll return to your houseboat or hotel, check out, and proceed to Srinagar Airport for your return flight back home.
